  • Service Technician

We are seeking a highly motivated, customer-focused Service Technician with a “consider it done” attitude and strong safety mindset to join our fast-paced team. Rankin offers competitive pay, overtime, and a desirable 7am to 3:30 pm workday. We provide full training, management support and a collaborative team environment. Responsibilities: In this Service Technician position, you will be primarily serving our construction industry customers. You will be in the front-line of our rental business, so professionalism, strong communication skills, and a service orientation are key requirements for this role. Preventative maintenance and cleaning of portable heating, cooling, and drying equipment prior to and after each rental delivery. Deliver, service, repair, adjust and test equipment. Provide emergency repairs of equipment as well as routine maintenance repairs. Prepare orders for delivery. Load and unload equipment from trucks. Test equipment to ensure proper working order. Reassemble equipment after repair. Interact professionally with customers regarding their equipment. Qualifications: Self-motivated leader with a great work ethic. Basic tool knowledge. Strong work ethic, positive attitude, team players who thrive on providing customers with the highest level of service. Strong mechanical aptitude and skill troubleshooting malfunctioning equipment and basic repairs. Proven communication skills capable of demonstrating proper and safe equipment operations to customers and meeting Rankin Customer Service Standards (we will train you). Previous experience in HVAC a plus and/or HVAC certification highly beneficial but not necessary. Previous work experience driving to and from customer sites to deliver and pickup rental equipment/supplies. Availability to remain on call for emergency service after-hours and weekends as needed. Capable of lifting 50+ lbs. including extended standing, sitting, bending. Must be able to work in the elements.   • Sales Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated, customer-focused Sales Representative with a “consider it done” attitude and strong safety mindset to join our outside sales team. As a Rankin Sales Representative, you will be responsible for maintaining customer relations with existing clients as well as seeking-out and building new opportunities in the region. We provide full training, management support and a collaborative team environment along with a solid compensation structure that includes salary plus lucrative commission and car allowance. We also offer a full benefits package (Medical/Dental/HSA) including paid time off, matching 401(k), and additional benefits such as Life Insurance and Short- and Long-Term Disability. Responsibilities Develop and implement a territory marketing plan by collaborating with Rankin team and utilizing Salesforce application and other social-media channels to manage leads and build prospects. Travel to and from client locations and new prospects on a regular basis providing Rankin’s high-level customer service and Rankin’s “get it done” business strategy while generating sales of existing and new prospects. Develop and deliver sales presentations to prospective clients creating an awareness and a desire to engage in Rankin’s proven 35+ years of business success. Maintain Rankin’s accurate and detailed customer records to support efficient sales results. Collaborate on a regular ongoing basis with the Rankin Team to achieve goals and exceed sales expectations. Qualifications Associate Arts Degree or Bachelor’s Degree desired and/or equivalent work-related experience providing comparable training and experience. Proven experience in an outside sales role with at least 2-years’ experience. Would prefer, but not required, related experience within diversified industries requiring temporary climate solutions and controls such as; construction sites, hospitals, academic institutions, computer rooms etc.. Proficient with MS Office/Outlook suite application and Salesforce to map site visits, research opportunities and maintain existing client and prospective client historical information. Strong mathematical aptitude highly desirable (training offered) as well as previous experience reading construction blueprints. Experience working in a business environment that operates with strong customer focus and commitment to safety. Capable of working autonomously and delivering accurate reports within designated timeline.
